What You Get with One-On-One Training

Trying anything new is scary, or maybe it’s exciting. Either way, your nerves are up. I want to thank you for being here, for taking the time to chase your dream. Whether that means this will be your first time on a motorcycle, or you’re being reacquainted after a long time off two-wheels, I’m here for you.

I adore private training because it allows me to be creative when it comes to coaching you. Each person learns differently and at their own unique pace. I pride myself on really paying attention to what you need. Beit a nudge, a good laugh, or a water brake, I’m responding to your needs.

Group classes can be great for some people as well. The camaraderie that comes with it and the chance to make friends. For riders that are more nervous, the feeling of being too slow, holding others up, or not getting a sense they are being taken care of amongst the group can be paralyzing. That is where private training comes into play. It can be the bridge between wanting to learn to ride, but not having to deal with a bunch of other moving parts. Of course, even if groups don’t bother you, private training is a wonderful way to get 100% of your coaches attention to accelerate your learning and skills.

Private coaching will almost always begin with a few key exercises to help me assess your current skill level. From there, I will curate the curriculum to you specifically. No two private coaching sessions are the same. Each rider gets their own personalized course.

If you are brand spanking new, the first hour is about getting to know the bike. What’s what, ways to become more comfortable with the motorcycle, and everyone’s favorite, picking the dang thing up. From there I’ll ease you into how to make the motorcycle go and how to make the motorcycle stop. These are the two hardest things to do. Once you’re rolling, the rest is easy (relatively speaking).

Eventually you’ll be closer to your dreams than you ever have been before. All the skills I teach build on each other. Think of it like the ABC’s. Learning the basics is how you build words, to build sentences, to write paragraphs, poetry, and novels. From the ground up, putting down sturdy roots for your motorcycle foundation.

Questions are welcomed and I actually prefer them because it lets me know what is important to you and that you are actively engaged in this journey to understand the in’s and out’s. Motorcycling is a personal experience through and through. Even if we share it with others, operating your own motorcycle is your own experience. It’s empowering, freeing, and exciting. Not to mention, you’re really cool when you pull up to anywhere on your motorcycle.

Take the leap! This is for you and you deserve it!

All private coaching sessions can range anywhere from three to six hours in one day. The minimum is three hours because two just isn't enough to get into the groove. I rarely book any other client on the same day, which means if you are really feeling your groove, we can extend the session up to a total of six hours.
